Meet the people behind who made Triadontics Academy possible.
Dr. Bassam Hassan
Prosthodontist
Dr. Bassam Hassan is a prosthodontist recognized by the European Prosthodontics Association (EPA), a restorative dentist recognized by the Dutch-Flemish Society of Restorative Dentistry (NVVRT), an implant surgeon recognized by the Dutch Society of Oral Implantology (NVOI) and an academic researcher in Digital Implants Prosthodontics. He has published more than 50 articles in cited international journals and has presented in more than 100 national and international venues. He has participated in several projects with industry leading corporations and has participated in several international clinical trials. He has a Master degree in dentistry from the University of Amsterdam (ACTA), a Master degree in Medical Imaging and CAD-CAM from the Catholic University of Leuven (KUL), a Master degree in Prosthodontics from the Medical University of Vienna and a PhD from the University of Amsterdam (ACTA). He worked for three years as a fulltime assistant professor at the department of general and specialized dentistry at ACTA and for three years part time as an assistant professor at the department of Implantology and Prosthetic Dentistry at ACTA while working in a private practice. From 2018-2020, he worked as a prosthodontist and an implant surgeon at the maxillofacial surgery department at Acibadem International Medical Center. He is currently the owner of a private clinic in Zaandam and the founder of the digital
implant prosthodontics academy TRIAdontics.
Dr. I. (Ivo) Ten Hove
Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. I. (Ivo) ten Hove graduated as a dentist from the Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA) in 1998. He studied medicine at the VU University in Amsterdam and passed his medical exam in 2006. From 2001-2005 he was trained as a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the VU medical center, Amsterdam. His peripheral training as a Maxillofacial Surgeon took place in Alkmaar followed by an internship in Facial Traumatology in Newcastle, England. After specializing as a Maxillofacial Surgeon, a two-year fellowship for Head and Neck Surgery was completed at Erasmus MC in Rotterdam (2011 and 2012). From 2007 to 2018 he worked at the Slotervaart Medical Center, Amsterdam. From 2009 to 2020 he worked at Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam as a Maxillofacial-Oncologist. From 2020, he combines work as a Maxillofacial-Oncologist at Leiden University Center and Maxillofacial surgery in ACIBADEM International Medical Center in Amsterdam.
Dr. Hans Van Pelt
Restorative Dentist
Dr. Hans van Pelt, PhD, EPA recognized Prosthodontist graduated at Rijks Unversity Groningen in 1978 and worked at the department of Prosthodontics from 1978-1985 and obtained his PhD in 1985 General practice from 1984-1999 and was affiliated with Martini Hospital Groningen, department Oral Surgery and MFP from 1991 – 2011.
Founder of the department Special Dental Care and Restorative Dentistry and visiting clinical professor in Restorative and Reconstructive Dentistry at UMC Groningen since 2000.
Co-founder referral practice PRO Rotterdam in 2010. Co-founder (in 1999) and honorary member of the Dutch Flemish Society of Restorative Dentistry. Concilium member NVvRT since 2020 and Member EPA Specialist Committee since 2021. Lecturer CE Courses ACTA Quality Practice from 1989-2014 and NiVVT in Belgium (more than 500 courses presented all over the world). Chief editor Tandartspraktijk from 2012-2021. Author and co-author of more than 100 scientific papers and clinical cases
Dr. Genc Zenunaj,
Implant surgeon
Dr. Genc Zenunaj has finished his Doctorate of Dentistry (DDS) from the University of Prishtina, Kosovo in 2009. Following three years of associate dentistry in different practices, he opened his private dental office in 2012 with emphasis on restorative dentistry and prosthodontics. In 2016, he was admitted to the University of Vienna medical school at the division of prosthodontics for specialty training. He obtained his master degree in prosthodontics in 2018. Subsequently, he joined the European Association of Osseointegration (EAO) postgraduate program in implant dentistry. His clinical expertise include implant surgery, fixed and removable prosthodontics and functional occlusion. He’s been an instructor at TRIAdontics since 2021.
